Guest Ratings & Reviews
Staying at the hotel offered a magical introduction to Japan with its majestic Temple grounds view from the large room, more like an apartment than a hotel room. The confusing heated toilet seat added a unique touch, and being welcomed with tea made the start special.
Staying at this hotel was a lovely experience overall. The rooms offer a beautiful view over the temple complex, and the variety of food places nearby is fantastic. While the rooms may need some updating to enhance the stay, the view alone makes up for it. The service was mostly friendly and accommodating, with great local dining recommendations provided. The location directly across from the main Narita temple complex is incredibly convenient, especially for attending early morning prayers. Dining right next to the temple was a delightful experience, showcasing organic vegetables. However, the hotel does not offer shuttle service to the airport, and the dining options could be more diverse.
The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the wonderful temple complex, making it easy to attend morning prayers. The rooms are a bit worn down and musty but have all the essentials. The service is extremely helpful, especially for foreigners unfamiliar with ryokan/bath etiquette. The dining experience offers delicious traditional Japanese cuisine. The hotel is spacious, but some areas may need updating for a higher score.
